Menadzer benda Radiohead, Brian Message, pokrenuo je sopstvenu diskografsku kucu, Polyphonic. Poslovna politika ce se bazirati na zastiti autorskih prava izvodjaca i digitalnoj distribuciji muzike kao sto je to bio slucaj 2007. sa albumom “In Rainbows” – fanovi su mogli da skinu album sa Internet stranice benda za sumu novca koju su sami odredili. Muzicari ce dobijati 50% od zarade, a sto su uspesniji, to ce dobit biti veca. Polyphonic je zajednicki projekat kompanije ATC i menadzerskih grupacija - MAMA Group i Nettwerk Music Group. Diskografska kuca jos nema potpisnika.

MANJE LUPANJA, VISE SVIRANJA

Nije sala kada bubnjari prestanu da lupaju i pocnu da sviraju. Patrick Carney, bubnjar benda Black Keys je oformio bend sastavljen iskljucivo od kolega po palicama. Cine ga Jamie Stillman, gitara (Teeth Of Hydra), Jon Finley, vokali/gitara (Beaten Awake), Stephen Clements, klavijature/vokali (Houseguest/Six Parts Seven), Greg Boyd, bubnjevi (Ghostman and Sandman) i Patrick Carney, bas. A kako se zove bend? DRUMMER!!! Prvo dugosvirajuce izdanje se zove “Feel Good Together” (nego sta!) snimljen je za Audio Eagle. Slusacemo ga od 29. septembra nadalje. Na turneji ce deliti binu sa bendom Royal Bangs.

BAND OF SKULLS

Band of Skulls je alternativni rock bend iz Southampton-a, Velika Britanija. U pocetku su svirali sirom Londona u nocnim klubovima i snimali demose pod imenom Fleeing New York. Zahvaljujuci svojim inovativnim pristupom kreativnom procesu i odnosu prema zvuku vrlo brzo su se proculi u muzickim/umetnickim krugovima Londona, Moskve, Tokija. Novembra 2008. menjaju ime benda u Band Of Skulls. Album “Baby Darling Doll Face Honey” u distribuciji diskografske kuce Shangri-La Music pojavio se ekskluzivno za iTunes marta ove godine. Producirao/snimio/zavrsni mix uradio Ian Davenport (Supergrass, Badly Drawn Boy) u Radiohead Courtyard Studios u Oxfordshire-u, postprodukcija je radjena u House of Blues studiju u LA-ju. Pesma "I Know What I Am" je izabrana za iTunes singl nedelje kako bi se naglasilo njegovo pojavljivanje na Internetu. Muzika benda je mix gitarske lirike, toplih vokala i Wall of Sound zvucnog tepiha.

LUDILO:

Basistkinja/pevacica Emma odrzala je izlozbu "Meat Me At The Butchers", u mesari u kojoj je radila vikendom. Njena kolekcija ploca broji 20,000 albuma i singlova, a plivala je za reprezentaciju Engleske pri tom osvojivsi nekoliko medalja na vise takmicenja. 

Bubnjar Matt igrao je tenis sa cuvenim John McEnroe-om. Za to vreme je bend njegovog oca bio na turneji sa The Rolling Stones. 

Russell-ov pradeda je bio slepi putnik na brodu Titanik, zbrisavsi iz Southampton-a od tri zene i 16-oro vanbracne dece!
